Constantia House

The brief

A family home in Constantia, on the green slopes south of Cape Town, needed an interior that felt calm, tactile and open to the garden throughout the year.

Materials

Lime-washed walls, polished concrete floors and sculptural furniture carved from single pieces of wood set a quiet, warm base. Woven wall hangings and natural textiles bring texture and local craft.

Sliding glazed walls disappear into the structure, so that living room, terrace and pool read as one continuous space.
